Jakub Jansa

Jakub Jansa (*1989, Prague, Czech republic), freely combines various media, primarily creates installations and performence that are responsive to the context of the place. Work is loosely connected to the »imaginary situational manual«, which consists of assigned tasks and subsequent solutions, responding to events that are incidentally discovered. His frequent theme is searching for boundaries between freely arising nature and artificially made world. He will graduate from Supermedia Studio at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, under the guidance of Federico Díaz and David Korinek, next year. Besides, he works on architectural design of exhibitions.
